Declaws are performed using a surgical laser that reduces pain and bleeding at the surgical site and has shown vast improvements in the surgical outcome.
A consultation with the doctor will be required for anyone wishing to have declaw of all four paws and an estimate will be given.
- Mass removal: Cost will vary with each individual case and an estimate provided upon physical exam.
A free pre-operative exam will be performed upon admission for surgery. Owners are encouraged to be present, as this is the time that any issues or additional procedures can be addressed.
A brief pre-operative blood panel will be performed on all patients and is included in the base cost of surgery.
If problems are noted by bloodwork or physical exam, additional diagnostics or postponement of surgery may be suggested.
We offer anesthetic dental cleanings for both dogs and cats. A full mouth examination is necessary to provide an accurate quote, as the severity of any dental disease would need to be evaluated before any procedure could be accurately priced.
